UNLOCKING THE SECRETS OF KNOWLEDGE : PLUTO'S THREE METHODS
Unlocking the Secrets of Knowledge : Pluto's Three Methods

"The unexamined life is not worth living." - Socrates
In our pursuit of knowledge and understanding, we often rely on traditional methods of learning, such as reading, research, and analysis. However, the ancient Greek philosopher, Pluto, revealed three methods of acquiring knowledge that go beyond the conventional approaches. These methods are: Senses, Reasoning, and God Madness (the Beautiful State). In this blog, we'll delve into each of these methods, exploring their significance and the role of intuition in unlocking the secrets of knowledge.
The Power of Intuition
"Intuition is the supra-logic that cuts out all the routine processes of thought and leaps straight from the problem to the answer." - Robert Graves
Intuition is the ability to acquire knowledge or insight without conscious reasoning or deliberate thought. It's the gut feeling, the hunch, or the instinct that guides us towards a particular decision or action. Intuition plays a vital role in Pluto's methods, particularly in the third method, God Madness - In Body Mind Programming we talk about 'The Beautiful State'
Pluto's Three Methods
Method 1: Senses
"The senses are the windows of the soul." - Ancient Greek Proverb
The first method of acquiring knowledge is through our senses. Our senses allow us to perceive the world around us, to see, hear, touch, taste, and smell. This method is essential for gathering information and data about the world.
Example: Isaac Newton's discovery of gravity. Newton observed an apple falling from a tree, which led him to formulate his law of universal gravitation. His observation using his senses sparked a fundamental shift in our understanding of the natural world.
Method 2: Reasoning
"Reasoning is the process of drawing conclusions from premises"-Aristotle
The second method of acquiring knowledge is through reasoning. Reasoning allows us to process the information we gather through our senses, to analyze it, and to draw conclusions. This method helps us to make sense of the world and to understand the relationships between things.
The art of reasoning is the art of getting from something you know to something which you don't know.
Example: Albert Einstein's development of the theory of relativity. Einstein used mathematical reasoning to challenge the long-held assumptions of space and time. His theory revolutionized our understanding of the universe and had a profound impact on the development of modern physics.
We can say " The strength of reasoning is not in arguments but in the mind that uses them"
Method 3: God Madness (The Beautiful State)
"The highest wisdom is to understand that all is nothing." - Chuang Tzu
When myself along with Professor Krishnaswamy were working on developing Body Mind Programming we both contemplated on "God Madness " - a state of higher consciousness where an individual experiences a deep sense of connection with the universe, themselves, and higher power, It's a state of awareness that that transcends the rational mind. We loved this 'God Madness' and felt that this method along with the first two can help in finding creative and innovative solutions to problems being faced by the individuals and the society. We developed two vehicles 'Rhythmic Balance ' and 'Pacific Harmony' for being in the deepest levels of consciousness to tap the infinite source of knowledge and intelligence. We called it the 'Beautiful State' . Thus the The third method of acquiring knowledge is through God Madness, which we can also refer to as the Beautiful State. This method involves tapping into a deeper level of consciousness, where we can access higher states of awareness and understanding.
Characteristics:
- A sense of unity and interconnectedness with all things
- Transcendence of the rational mind and ego
- Access to deeper wisdom, intuition, and creativity
- Feeling of inner peace, joy, and fulfillment
- Sense of connection with a higher power or the divine
Experiencing God Madness:
God Madness can be experienced through various practices such as meditation, prayer, contemplation, or creative expression. It can also arise spontaneously, often in response to profound life experiences, nature, or art.
In essence, God Madness is a state of higher consciousness that allows us to access deeper levels of wisdom, creativity, and understanding, and to experience a profound sense of connection with ourselves, others, and the universe.
Example: Archimedes' discovery of the principle of buoyancy. Archimedes was taking a bath when he suddenly realized the principle of buoyancy. His intuition and insight in the Beautiful State led to a fundamental discovery that has had a lasting impact on our understanding of fluid dynamics.
Great Discoveries Using Pluto's Methods
Here are some more examples of great discoveries made using Pluto's three methods:
- Marie Curie's discovery of radium and polonium: Curie used her senses to observe the properties of radioactive elements, her reasoning to develop theories about their behavior, and her intuition to guide her experiments.
- Charles Darwin's theory of evolution: Darwin used his senses to observe the diversity of species, his reasoning to develop theories about their evolution, and his intuition to guide his research.
- Steve Jobs' development of the iPhone: Jobs used his senses to observe the needs and desires of consumers, his reasoning to develop innovative solutions, and his intuition to guide his design decisions.
- Ancient Indian Scientists and Rishis : Aryabhata, Charka, Bhaskara , and Sushruta were known for their groundbreaking discoveries and innovative thinking. While their rational minds played a significant role in their scientific pursuits, it's likely that they tapped into the power of God's Madness or the Beautiful state to access higher states of consciousness and intuition.
In this state, they may have experienced profound insights, creativity, and innovation, which guided their scientific inquiries and lead remarkable breakthroughs. The ancient Indian concept of "dhyana, and " samadhi" (higher states of consciousness ) suggest that these scientists may have used spiritual practices to access God's Madness and unlock the secrets of the universe.
By combining rational enquiry with intuitive insights, these ancient Indian scientists were able to make lasting contributions to mathematics, astronomy, medicine, surgery, and other fields, leaving a legacy, that continues to inspire and influence scientists and thinkers to this day.
Conclusion
"Knowledge is not something that you acquire; it's something that you become." - Unknown
In conclusion, Pluto's three methods of acquiring knowledge offer us a powerful framework for understanding and accessing knowledge. By using our senses, reasoning, and God Madness (the Beautiful State), we can gain a deeper understanding of the world and our place in it.
" The divine is not something that we find, but something that finds us. Divine is within us "- Professor Krishnaswamy and Raj Kumar Dham
Remember, knowledge is not just something that we acquire through our senses and reasoning; it's also something that we can access through our deeper states of consciousness. By tapping into these states, we can gain insights, understanding, and wisdom that can guide us on our journey through life.
